Develop a climate, within the school or other learning environment that models peaceful and rights-based respectful behavior in the relationships between all members of the school community: teachers, administrators, other staff, parents, and children. Draw on the knowledge of peacebuilding that already exists in the community, including means of dealing with conflict that is effective, non-violent, and rooted in the local culture and function as ‘zones of peace, where children are safe from conflict in the community.

“Peace and Tolerance “ as a training content were new so it was very much interesting for participants and facilitators. The participants provided their full time to the training and involved themselves in almost activities of the training. Facilitators covered most of the issues of the participants and the contents of the training. To match the training contents and their concept with the level of participants many references were taken from our practices and cultures which made it easy to understand the essence. The whole training period was accomplished discussing School as a ‘Peace Zone’, Social Justice, and intolerant Behavior of Students, parents, and Teachers each other. After that ‘tolerance’ had been discussed as the threshold of peace. How ‘peace culture ‘can be enhanced? that was discussed. Participants were made to practice the Intolerant behavior for other groups, dividing themselves into three components of school such as student, teacher, and parents they self–assessed the Behavior and practices prevalent in the schools.
